Next to building one-off solutions by executing projects, TASS also offers software tools and components within its field of embedded and technical software. Such tools can either be developed in-house by TASS, or TASS can be a dedicated reseller of tools and components within its field.
An example of an in-house development is the Prisma Tool for product risk analysis. It helps customers reduce the development and test cycle of a product by anticipating the most critical parts of the process. In particular, it leads to a highly improved testing strategy, with in the end shorter time-to-market for better products. The Prisma Tool can be obtained for free from sales@tass.be, and TASS experts can assist you in deploying it within your organization.
Next to the in-house development of tools to improve the embedded software process, TASS is also open to reselling tools and components from partner companies, specifically with an eye on providing the additional services required (training, configuration, etc.). In case reselling of existing tools is not part of the agreement, TASS can still team up with a tool vendor to provide the expert consultancy for the tools. In this context, TASS already has a partnership with Verum for its ASD:Suite, again a tool intended to cut the cost of software development, testing and maintenance.
As TASS offers complete hardware-software solutions, it can also be a hardware reseller for dedicated devices (PDA's, ruggedized PC's, etc.) used in these solutions. In this case, TASS teams up with the hardware vendor and takes care of transparent agreements related to warranty, maintenance, and support.
